TVAHA proudly donates a portion of it proceeds from each show to charities.

PLEASE READ:

  • Grounds will open at 4:00 p.m. on June 13th (Friday). Friday night stabling will be allowed at no extra cost if you are renting and have paid in full for a stall on Saturday. Stalls may be reserved in advance; a $10.00 deposit is required. Balance due upon arrival at the show. To reserve your stall please call (256) 773-1409 or email TVAHA@charter.net. RV Hook-Ups are $25.00 each. ($10.00 deposit required) Horse trailers that park in the RV area will also have to pay the $25.00 (A&M rule). Arena will be open from 6:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday to work horses.
  • Stalls are available and may be reserved in advance.  A grounds fee of $5.00 per horse is required for all horses that do not have a stall. To reserve your stall please call (256) 732-4435 or email TVAHA@charter.net.  1 bag of shavings is included with stall.  Absolutely NO straw or hay is allowed for bedding or tying up horses to stalls or pole stalls as per A&M rules.  
  • Office will open at 4:00 p.m. and close at 7:00p.m. on Friday June 13th.  Saturday morning office opens at 7:00 a.m.
  • Show fees can be paid in cash, check or money order.  Please make checks or money orders out to TVAHA.  An open check will be requested at time of registration and kept on file to be completed or exchanged for cash when you are done showing and ready to check out.  If paying by cash it is required that you pay for a class each time a class is added.(exception: when a class is scratched and another one takes it's place)  A show bill can be printed out at time of check out.  There is a $30.00 fee for any returned check.
  • Registration forms,waivers  and class lists are available at www.tvaha.com.
  • WAIVER:  An AHA Waiver must be signed and on file for every exhibitor, owner, handler and trainer partaking in show.  If under 18, waiver must be signe by a parent or legal guardian. Waiver can be found on TVAHA website @tvaha.com or can be requested by email at tvahahorseshows@hotmail.com
  • Pre-Registration deadline is June 7, 2008. This is highly recommend to avoid the long lines Saturday morning but not required.  The show starts promptly at 8:00 a.m. No cross entries classes that are marked with an asterisk *.
  • Trail Classes will be held outside, weather permitting  and starting 8:00 a.m.. Last class will start at 12:00 p.m.. Rider/handler must register by 11:30 a.m. Showmanship and Trail Class patterns will be posted the day of the show. Trail classes are open card.
  • TVAHA will not tolerate any abuse or bad behavior by any horse owner, exhibitor or visitor at the show.  TVAHA reserves the right to refuse anyone found doing so from participation in/at show.
  • No abuse of horses allowed! You will be dismissed from show if seen. No refunds given.
  • Saddles are required in all classes except costume fun class. Safe and proper footwear is required in all classes. (No tennis shoes). ASTM-SEI helmets are required in CLASSES marked with a double asterisk**such as the Fun classes and in Hunter Pleasure. Bicycle helmets are NOT ALLOWED in any class. TVAHA request that ATSM riding helmets be worn while mounted  for your safety.
  • AHA registration numbers on horses & competition cards for ACS points must be put on waivers. Please bring a copies  for verification.
  • For Arabian Horse Community Show Points:  exhibitor must be a member of the Arabian Horse Association and show proof of current membership. Copies of registered Arabian, Half Arabian or Anglo Arabian papers. Also the AHA waiver must be completed and signed.  There is a $5.00 AHA fee for points to count
  • Schooling attire: polo type shirts, breeches, western shirts, jeans, helmets, western hats & boots with heels. English or Western Classes require the rider to have the proper appearance in riding attire. Proper tack for the horse is required for said classes. 
  • Paid classes may be scratched and replaced with another one no later than 1 hour before new class wanted.  But No refunds will be given.
  • A cash or a separate check will be required for all silent auction purchases.
  • 12 month negative Coggins required on all horses 6 months or older. This will be checked upon arrival. AHA registration papers on horses & competition cards for ACS points. Waivers on all entrants.
  • Schooling attire: polo type shirts. Western shirts, jeans, breeches, helmets, western hats, & boots with heels.
  • SORRY, NO REFUNDS.
  • Dogs must be on a leash at all times.
  • Simple concessions by A&M available on grounds.
